About the image: I was with my nieces and nephews at a beach bar in Cecina, Italy. This Dwarf Spitz caught our eye. It was November, and the fall sun gave his sprawling coat that special glow. The children immediately called him “Lion”. And it’s true: Somehow, he looks like a miniature version of the big cat.
