During a trip through Thailand in 2025, we booked private transport for a longer journey. The provider tried hard to convince us beforehand that we should book a minivan instead of a normal car, and eventually we gave in. When the white minibus pulled up outside the hotel on the day of collection, we didn’t think anything of it at first. But when we got in, we were surprised by what we saw: every surface was covered in gold decorative foil, rainbow-coloured LED strips ran along the doors, and the ceiling had “Luxury Style” written in large letters.

Our frames are first-class, high-quality and sustainably produced, real wood picture frame “Made in Germany”.

All our picture frames are made of FSC-certified wood in our production facility in Pforzheim.

Passepartout

When opting for a passepartout, note that while the picture size remains unchanged, the frame size increases as follows:

S Size (18×24 cm) pictures ➝ Frame size becomes 28×35 cm
M Size (28×35 cm) pictures ➝ Frame size becomes 40×50 cm
L Size (40×50 cm) pictures ➝ Frame size becomes 56×71 cm
XL Size (56×71 cm) pictures ➝ Frame size becomes 70×90 cm

Our passepartouts are bevel-cut passepartouts made with a computerized cutting machine.

Amelie Niederbuchner

About Amelie Niederbuchner: Amelie Niederbuchner (*1993) grew up in Upper Bavaria near Chieming on Lake Chiemsee. After graduating from high school, she spent a year in London, then studied Media Studies and Business Administration at the University of Regensburg (B.A.). From 2016, she assisted various renowned photographers. Since 2019, she has been a freelance photographer for editorial publications such as Die Zeit, Zeit Magazin, Greenpeace Magazin, Monocle, Capital, 11 Freunde, etc., and agencies such as muehlhausmoers, Looping Group, or Nansen & Piccard. Amelie Niederbuchner lives and works in Munich.
