About Michael Philipp Bader: Michael Philipp Bader, who grew up in Munich in the mid-1980s, studied photography in Dortmund. He then went freelance as a photographer and has since worked on advertising campaigns and editorials for traditional advertising agencies and magazines. His photographic focus is on portraits and sport, creating characteristic/extraordinary portraits and worlds around athletes and their specific movements. Playing with light and color, lines and shapes, perspectives and expectations, he manages to create beauty and intimacy. In addition to his classic commissioned work, Michael Philipp has repeatedly worked on independent photo and video projects that have been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
