About Katjana Frisch: Katjana Frisch (*1986) studied photography in Munich after spending a few years as an apprentice in advertising studios. After several exhibitions in Munich and Austria, she left Germany and spent some time in California, where the idea for her magazine Wilderness was born. It was published in German-speaking countries. Katjana’s passion for surfing and her love for the Arctic continents is reflected in her reportages and portraits. Katjana mainly works for the German magazine market and agencies in corporate publishing. In addition to photography, Katjana produces shoots for clients like Land Rover, Mercedes, and Red Wing Shoes.
