Jahrhunderts<\/h3>\n<p>Mein Zimmer im Royal Continental Hotel in Neapel hatte keinen Meerblick, was ich zun\u00e4chst entt\u00e4uschend fand, aber dann war es mir egal. Denn hinter dem Hotel erhebt sich der Pizzafalcone, der ebenfalls einen wunderbaren Anblick bietet. Auf diesem H\u00fcgel wurde Parthenope, die erste griechische Stadt in der Gegend, mehrere Jahrhunderte vor Christus gegr\u00fcndet. Im 16. Jahrhundert bauten wohlhabende Neapolitaner dort Villen. Die beeindruckende Rampe di Pizzafalcone, die im Zickzack zum Palazzo Carafa di Santa Severina hinauff\u00fchrt, stammt aus dieser Zeit. Am oberen rechten Rand des Bildes ist er zu sehen. Die Stra\u00dfe wird auch Rampe di Lamont Young genannt, benannt nach dem britischen Architekten Lamont Young, der Ende des 19. und Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts viele Stadtpal\u00e4ste in Neapel entwarf.
